Description

In many senses the life of Paul, following Jesus, didn’t look at all healthy to the world. The rhythms of life and ministry flow out of what we turn to for identity.  Church planters burn out and set unrealistic goals when they operate as if they are the ones on whom the Kingdom rests. Paul found his identity in Christ. This was not just his safety net; it was the blueprint for his ministry. The gospel itself shaped his life and guided his approach to planting and ministry. Paul’s ministry goal was to develop the same approach in his disciples and churches. Imitating Paul, in his gospel identity, will lead us to see the gospel word, community, and everyday life as the matrix within which, we work out the rhythms of life and ministry, in church planting.
