David Lloyd

David Lloyd is a development and fundraising consultant based near Oxford, UK. His passion is to help Christian charities grow in a Godly, relational, intentional and sustainable way. Prior to starting his consultancy, David was Director of Development and Communications with OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics – a charity he continues to work closely with. David has worked in development for almost 20 years across three key areas in the charity sector – healthcare, education and religion – with development roles at Magdalen College School, Oxford, in the Middle East with American Mission Hospital, and at RZIM Zacharias Trust (now OCCA). As such, David has extensive experience working with donors across the globe in many contexts. David is a qualified journalist and worked in newspapers, public relations and as a magazine editor prior to moving into development. David is also an Advanced Toastmaster and believes firmly in the importance of clear verbal and written communications.
