1) Apologetics Leadership Seminar: 7-19 June 2021

How do we persuasively communicate the Gospel in Europe today?

What did the Apostle Paul do when Pre-Christian Europe was pagan, relativistic, and pluralistic?  He did apologetics. With the Jews, Paul argued from the Old Testament Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.  With the Greeks, he used their literature and cultural artefacts to argue that the "unknown God" has been revealed.  In every context, Paul persuasively communicates the Gospel.

Europe in the 21st century is in a state very similar to Paul's time.  Just as Paul engaged non-believers where they were, Europe today needs gifted apologists and evangelists who can persuasively communicate that Christianity is true and relevant.

The Apologetics Leadership Seminar will provide an overview of the importance and strategy of apologetics and give leaders strategies to more persuasively communicate the Gospel.  Each seminar will be led by Stefan Gustavsson, and Andy Banister, two of Europe’s influential apologists, and will take place over 2 days.  Participants should be apologists, evangelists, pastors and leaders that are seeking to learn how to more persuasively communicate the Gospel.   We encourage you to consider hosting a seminar in your country to help your fellow leaders receive the teaching and training to how to persuasively communicate the Gospel in their contexts and ministries.

Commitment & Cost: Hosts will be responsible for promoting and recruiting key apologists and leaders from across their country and for covering the cost for speakers of lodging, food, facilities, and transportation within their country.  There is also a fee of 200 euros for Central, Eastern, and Southern European countries and 300 euros for Western European countries to help to cover the cost of travel.

2) Church Revitalisation Leadership Seminar: 5-18 June 2021

Many existing evangelical churches, even those that were planted recently, are not faring well. Often church leaders lack access to key revitalisation leaders, as well as training in spiritual leadership and the skills they need to revitalize their churches for long-term sustainability and growth

The Church Revitalisation Leadership Seminar will present a biblical vision for both church revitalisation and personal renewal.  David Brown will focus on a larger vision of how to bring revitalisation to the church, while Jerry Root will unpack the importance of revitalisation in our personal lives, expressed in a loving relationship with God.

Each seminar will take place over 1-2 days and is intended for key leaders and pastors that are seeking to bring revitalisation to their local churches and denominations. We encourage you to consider hosting a seminar in your country to help these leaders receive the training they need to build healthy, growing churches.

Commitment & Cost: Hosts will be responsible for recruiting key leaders working in church revitalization from across their country and for covering the cost for speakers of lodging, food, facilities, and transportation within their country.  There is also a fee of 375 euros for Central, Eastern, and Southern European countries and 575 euros for Western European countries to help to cover the cost of intercontinental travel.
