Leadership Seminars (Online)
1) Online Apologetics Leadership Seminar: Saturday, 19 June 2021, 15:00-18:00 CEST
Europe in the 21st century is in a state very similar to Paul's time. Just as Paul engaged non-believers where they were, Europe today needs gifted apologists and evangelists who can persuasively communicate that Christianity is true and relevant.
The Online Apologetics Leadership Seminar will provide an overview of the importance and strategy of apologetics and give leaders strategies to more persuasively communicate the Gospel. The seminar will be led by Stefan Gustavsson, and Andy Banister, two of Europe’s influential apologists, and will take place on Saturday 19th June 15.00-18.00 CEST. Participants should be apologists, evangelists, pastors and leaders that are seeking to learn how to more persuasively communicate the Gospel. If your circumstances permit you, we encourage you to consider hosting the online seminar in your church or a similar facility and invite other leaders from your country to join you to engage in the seminar together. You could plan in extra time to discuss the application of the material to your context with leaders who join you.

2) Online Church Revitalisation Leadership Seminar: Saturday, 5 June 2021, 15:00-18:00 CEST
Many existing evangelical churches, even those that were planted recently, are not faring well. Often church leaders lack access to key revitalisation leaders, as well as training in spiritual leadership and the skills they need to revitalize their churches for long-term sustainability and growth
The Online Church Revitalisation Leadership Seminar will present a biblical vision for both church revitalisation and personal renewal. David Brown will focus on a larger vision of how to bring revitalisation to the church, while Jerry Root will unpack the importance of revitalisation in our personal lives, expressed in a loving relationship with God.
The Leadership seminar will take place on Saturday, 5th June 2021, 15.00-18.00 CEST. It is intended for key leaders and pastors that are seeking to bring revitalisation to their local churches and denominations. If your circumstances permit you, we encourage you to consider hosting the online seminar in your church or a similar facility and invite other leaders from your country to join you to engage in the seminar together. You could plan in extra time to discuss the application of the material to your context with leaders who join you.
Jerry Root is Associate Director of the Institute for Strategic Evangelism, Billy Graham Center, at Wheaton College, Illinois, where he is also Associate Professor of Christian Formation and Ministry and Evangelism and Leadership. Jerry’s lecture Tours have taken him to over 31 countries on three continents, and he has pastured three different churches over twenty-three years. He has published several books. His most noteworthy work continues to be The Quotable Lewis. Jerry holds a PhD from Open University (UK) and received his M.Div. from Talbot Graduate School of Theology.
