Building Intimacy with God and Growing Closer Together

If we want to love our spouse with God’s love, we have to be connected to Him and joined spiritually to one another. We can call this “spiritual bonding”, which means consistently placing God at the center of our marital relationship and growing closer to Him as a couple. How can our relationship with God affect our marriage? What are some of the practical ways we can bond together? Marriage first and foremost is a spiritual relationship. It works best when two people are connected individually to God, walking with Him, obeying Him in the Scripture, and praying as individuals and as a couple.
