Tim Griffin has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, a Master of Arts in Ministry, and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Development. Tim has served for over 30 years in ministry-oriented positions in a variety of settings. After many years serving local congregations, Tim resigned from his role as a senior pastor to join Motor Racing Outreach in 1998. While with MRO he served as the Vice President and Lead Chaplain to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. After 12 years of ministry in the world of motor-sports, he accepted a position at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Assuming his responsibilities in August 2010, he currently serves as Vice-President of Student Affairs which includes the tasks of Dean of Students and University Pastor.
