Dr. John Michael has been helping couples and families since 1993. John finished his Master’s Degree at Denver Seminary in Colorado and began working as a social worker and counsellor. Throughout the years of helping people, Dr. Michael completed his Doctorate in Psychology at Kennedy Western University while working for 11 years in Arizona as the Employee Assistance Counselor for the Phoenix Suns basketball organization and the Arizona Diamondbacks Professional Baseball Club. After his tenure in professional sports, John began focusing on developing a Christian Counseling agency and now is the Managing Partner of Lifetime Marriage, LLC, and Professional Counseling Associates. With three locations in Arizona, Dr. Michael and his team are training Professional Counselors to accurately help hurting people with the primary focus on God’s Word. Here, John answers questions from the talk "Heart Matters in Marriage: Exploring Emotions as Paths to Intimacy", given at the 2024 European Leadership Forum.
