How to Prepare a Short Evangelistic Talk

The goal of an evangelistic talk is to share the Good News of the Gospel with listeners, but also to pursue them to come to place of decision (either to repent or to decide that they need to find out more). In order to do that, an evangelist needs to identify with the audience and at the end to invite them to make a decision. In this talk, we look at three parts of an evangelistic talk: identification, persuasion and invitation. We will consider how to prepare and deliver a message and how to overcome fears.
