Why Evangelicals Need to Engage Roman Catholicism

Do the debates of the Reformation still matter for evangelicals today? How should evangelicals understand Roman Catholicism, and why is it important for evangelicals to continue to engage the Roman Catholic Church from a biblical perspective?
