Apologetics in the Local Church

Date recorded: 21 May 2012 | Speaker: Chris Brooks | Event: ELF Advanced Apologetics Network
Apologetics in the Local Church

The aim of this session is two-fold. First, it explores the biblical role of the New Testament local church in the apologetic enterprise. It examines various texts of scripture and historical writings. The session also provides seven proven strategies for creating an effective apologetic ministry within a local church context. Finally, the session ends with a clear vision for how apologetics can be cultivated in the local church by identifying and training those whose ministry is evangelism and defending the Christian faith.
