Crisis and Opportunities in Singleness

The purpose of this talk is to understand the emotional needs and mindset of single people. Singleness is sometimes a deliberate choice, but more often it is the result of undesired events, circumstances, or problems. Too often the emphasis is put on their unfulfilled desires, neglecting thus the enormous potential for a full and fruitful life. The example of Jesus helps us understand that true love does not depend on having a partner, but on having meaningful relationships. In this talk, Dr. Martinez speaks not only from theory, but also from his own experience being single for a time before getting married.
