In the second part of his series on David, Peter J. Williams addresses David’s deliverance and eventual rise to power. Most leaders have to deal with success. Human success can have many good consequences and can even be a means for God to work out his plans. However, any success comes from God’s grace alone, and the mere fact that God is blessing our ministry does not mean we’re doing things right. Success can even be despite what we do.
