This is part 1 of a 3-part series on How Not to Be a Narcissist: Understanding the God Who Made You. Our self-obsessed age has attempted to construct human identity apart from the God who made us. This has resulted in what Augustine called "the void of self" and is why modern people can feel so empty. Only in a return to our Creator can this appalling condition be rectified. This series explores how understanding God is the only hope for people who are floundering in themselves. In this first talk, we explore ‘The God Who is Not Like Us’ and why this is the ground of our true identity.
