Living in a Disordered Trust: the Egoism Trap

This talk examines Egoism as a cultural value that promotes humans to the highest place and how this has infected the modern church. To overcome this aspect of our worldliness, we must recover the knowledge of Christ’s supreme glory. This is part 2 of Smuggling Jesus Back into the Church, a Master Class by Andrew Fellows. At the very moment the church is becoming “worldly,” Christians are neglecting this key biblical concept. So, what is worldliness and how does it happen? In this Master Class, we diagnose the different forms of worldliness that exist today. As we highlight the dangers for the church, we examine how Christ provides the remedy.
