Most Common Management Mistakes

In the Christian world, we are often blessed by having great visionary leaders who combine a vibrant faith with strong, often charismatic, leadership gifts. That is the good news. The bad news is that all too often, great leaders lack training or awareness of some basic management and organisational skills. The result is that they can inadvertently stumble and do serious damage to their ministries by making some mistakes in their approach to the day to day management of their area of service. By highlighting some of these mistakes and suggesting some straightforward applications of management – and usually biblical – wisdom and practice, this session challenges leaders at every level to re-examine their own management approach and consider whether and how they might need to change.
