Description

By researching major themes and emphases, which delineate the Gospel writers from each other, we learn to read them horizontally as well as vertically. How do the teaching sections, parables, miracles, and pronouncement stories each make their unique contribution to the overall picture of each evangelist? How do they link Old Testament expectation and heritage with the in-breaking radicalism of the Kingdom of Heaven? What do the Gospels have to teach the 21st century church and how do we preach and teach the Gospel from the Gospels in our secular continent?
