The Role of Art in the Church: Making the Gospel Palatable?
Description
We know the heart of the Gospel is contained in the Scriptures. That means the preaching, right? Everything else should be background, or at least not get in the way? For several decades, the Church has been on a seeker-friendly track, re-imagining its trappings in order to make entry more accessible for a wider audience. How has that worked out? This session explores the effects of our imitation of the world on discipleship, on our Christian community, and on the world in which we live.
