Hugh Ross

Dr Hugh Ross had his curiosity captured by physics and astronomy by the age of seven. By age seventeen he was the youngest person ever to serve as director of observations for Vancouver’s Royal Astronomical Society. He earned a BSc in physics from the University of British Columbia and the M.Sc and PhD in astronomy from the University of Toronto. For several years he continued his research on quasars and galaxies as a post-doctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology. Over the years Dr. Ross has given hundreds of lectures, seminars, and courses both in the United States and abroad, on Christian scientific apologetics. He founded and leads the organization “Reasons to Believe,” and has authored or co-authored more than 10 books and many audio and video lecture tapes. He lives in southern California with his wife, Kathy, and sons, Joel and David.
