Peter Jensen

Peter Jensen
Dr Peter Jensen was educated in Moore College and ordained for service in the Anglican Diocese of Sydney in 1968. He holds the degrees of Bachelor of Divinity, London University, Master of Arts from Sydney University, and Doctor of Philosophy from Oxford. His thesis was a study in English Reformation theology. He began teaching at Moore College in 1973, and was appointed Principal in 1985. He served in this capacity for 16 years until 2001. Throughout this time, Dr Jensen taught Biblical and Systematic Theology, and has published two books: At the Heart of the Universe (1991 and subsequent editions), and The Revelation of God (2002). In 2001, Dr Jensen was elected Archbishop of the Diocese of Sydney.
