Emmanuel Kampouris

Emmanuel A. Kampouris is the retired Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of the New Jersey-based American Standard Companies, Inc., a leading global manufacturer, operating in 34 countries. In 1999 Mr. Kampouris capped his 35-year career with American Standard by leading the company to record sales. In 2000, together with his wife Camille he founded the Kairos Journal, an online magazine which seeks to embolden, educate, equip, and support pastors and church leaders as they strive to transform the moral conscience of their culture and restore the prophetic voice of the Church. In 2007 he founded Biblemesh” an online course to help people learn the comprehensive story of Scripture and apply it to all aspects of life. Both Kairos Journal and Biblemesh have been translated into more than seven languages. In 2012 Biblemesh launched its Biblical Languages course in Greek and Hebrew. Mr. Kampouris currently serves on the board of Amway, Inc. He has also served on the boards of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and Stanley Works, Click Commerce, The National Endowment for Democracy, the Hudson Institute (Emeritus), the boards of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (1994-2001) and the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowships. He is also a member of the Economic Club of New York, and the Oxford University Law Society. Mr. Kampouris earned an MA in law from Oxford University and a degree in Ceramic Technology from North Staffordshire College of Technology, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
