Timothy Laurence

Real name:
Tim Laurence leads evangelical academic ministry in three contexts which feed into one another: IFES Europe, UCCF, and Cambridge, were he coordinates the the Forming a Christian Mind conference and the Cambridge Christian Study Centre within The Round Church. In all contexts his vision is to see the gospel shape our academic work, and to trace how our academic work can help us introduce the gospel. The wider IFES Europe ministry is called ‘Good News for the University’. His work includes working with Lindsay Brown and John Lennox to coordinate the academic speakers’ network within the Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe (FEUER). Married to Katherine, an English graduate and former lawyer, Tim is currently working on a PhD in theology and philosophy through the University of St Andrews.
