Opposition and Opportunity

Jesus forewarned His followers that “If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20).  This is especially true of Christians who actively share their faith in an open way. Not surprisingly, the tactics of opposition haven’t changed from the days of the prophets, through the times of the Apostles, and up to the present day.

This workshop will consider:

• The inevitability of opposition
• The types of opposition that Christians who proclaim the Gospel should expect to face, regardless of whether or not the country or region is “open” or closed”
• How to respond to opposition as it arises
• The “benefits” and opportunities that actually arise from opposition
