“Not Ashamed” - A Defense of Direct and Forthright Evangelism
Fortunately, the world scene still includes many societies where the Gospel can be presented in an open and forthright manner. But despite the freedom to speak and the availability of opportunities, the practice of offering a clear-cut presentation of the Gospel message has become increasingly unpopular. Instead, many Christians prefer to witness in a manner that’s silent or indirect.
Is the forthright declaration of the Gospel out of date and ineffective in open societies today? Does a sensitive but clear-cut Gospel presentation close more doors than it opens by alienating, offending and driving people away? This webinar will:
- Look at the arguments for and against direct evangelism
- Look at the example left to us by the prophets, the apostles and by Jesus Himself
- Look at four biblical “fruits” that always occur whenever the Gospel is presented in a direct and forthright manner.
