Art, Technology and the Posthuman
Nowadays, digital technologies have evolved at a level of ubiquitousness that make their physical presence almost invisible while the effects of their use in society are becoming increasingly dramatical. The merge between technology and the human body, sometimes through flowless invisible interaction with computers through digital interfaces, at other times through digital alterations or extensions of human body parts or functions that the artist subjects himself to, evolved into new forms of artistic expression that challange everything we believe to be true about being humans.
In this webinar we are going to address some of the questions raised by these developments in current artistic practice from the perspective of digital culture and postuhumanistic thought.
