Acts 1-3: A Supernatural Invasion

In the first three chapters of Acts, we examine three supernatural events, Jesus' ascension, the Holy Spirit's descent at Pentecost, and the healing of a lame man by the Apostles.  This talk considers how Luke's historical observations of these events fit with the previously recorded predictive prophecies of God's salvation plan. What effect did these mighty works of God have on the people involved? What are their implications for the defense of the gospel still today?
