Biblical Gospel Theology, Part 4

Because God is the supreme author of the Bible, it has a deep underlying unity. Because of this, the basic hermeneutical principle is that the Bible interprets the Bible. At the very centre of the Bible is the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. It takes the full riches of the biblical message to unpack the glory of the Gospel, and it is the Gospel which provides the key interpretative principle of the whole of Scripture. The purpose of these four studies is to examine the Gospel in its biblical setting and to show how the Gospel helps us to understand the Scriptures.
