Developing and Imitating the Compassion of Christ
Description
Compassion is one of the most appealing and compelling characteristics of pastoral ministry and of the Christian life. This talk establishes the Biblical basis for compassion. We also explore the neurological basis of cognitive and affective empathy. After examining the relational and evangelistic benefits of compassion, we explore specific strategies for developing empathy and compassion, both in adults and in children.
