Developing Christian Leaders

For many, Christian leadership is primarily public speaking or management. Biblical teaching and wise managing are crucial parts of Christian ministry. Yet the great need in modern Christianity is to help Christians reflect more of Christ’s character in how they live. To accomplish this, a biblical vision of pastoral leadership needs to recovered, including an emphasis on spiritual formation, the care of souls, and discipleship. This session provides a broad biblical account of Christian pastoral leadership, including: 1) biblical theology for discipleship and leadership; 2) practical strategies for developing Christian leaders; and 3) hands-on-tools for nurturing Christian leaders to maturity.
