Going Public with Your Faith

Many Christians would like to make a difference for God in everyday life, but find that aggressive, mechanical models of evangelism as a one-time harvesting event are not effective in the workplace. Therefore, they are tempted to give up or devote their energies to other church activities. Recognising that people all around us are hungry for spiritual answers and resources, this workshop explores how all Christians can be an influence for Christ, specifically where they spend hours every day – the workplace. Using a model of evangelism as a process of cultivating, sowing, harvesting, and multiplying, it is shown how we can share our faith over time through authentic everyday relationships in a non-threatening way and draw people we meet at work to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
