Rest in Him – Hebrews 3:1-6:20

Date recorded: 25 May 2020 | Speaker: Peter Mead | Event: ELF Plenary Session
Topic: Theology

The first movement in the sermon to the Hebrews is built on the warning of Psalm 95:8, with its implicit invitation to enter the rest that remains for us in Christ. But what hope is there for us if we, like the wilderness generation, struggle with sin and rebellious tendencies? We need to see in Jesus not only that we have a great high priest, but also that we have a sympathetic high priest – one who has suffered like us. This video, premiered on 25 May 2020, was the fourth of nine plenary sessions for the European Leadership Forum, held entirely online for over 5,000 attendees worldwide. Peter Mead teaches part two of his four-part series on the letter to the Hebrews.
