This is a claim used by Muslim Apologists, Western politicians, and many Christians. In this talk, we ask and respond to the following questions: When did it become a popular idea? Why do people make this claim? How is it understood politically? How is it understood in missions? How has it affected outreach to Muslims? Does it aid or hinder the gospel? What does the Bible say about such a claim?
