Competitiveness is a major blind spot for people in Christian ministry. This talk explores the historical roots of competitiveness as a motivator in Western culture and its ubiquity in the contemporary world and Church. In light of Scripture, it critiques this pervasive value and suggests an alternative vision for grace-motivated cooperation.
