Henri Blocher

Real name: 
Dr Henri Blocher received his theological education (after two years at the Sorbonne) in London (London Bible College), near Boston (Gordon Divinity School), and in Paris (Faculté de Théologie Protestante), where he has been teaching since it was founded in 1965. He also holds the Gunther Knoedler chair of Systematic Theology at Wheaton College Graduate School. Among his books, In the Beginning, Evil and the Cross, and Original Sin are available in English (others in French). He has been, for ten years, a member of the Task Force of the World Evangelical Alliance Theological Commission for conversations with the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (PCPCU). He served two terms as a Vice-President of the United Bible Societies (1988-1996) and is currently the President of the Fellowship of European Evangelical Theologians.
