The Reconciling Leader

In the third part of his series on 2 Corinthians, Ramez Atallah will focus on Paul's second letter to the Corinthians and the last part of chapter five. In this context, reconciliation is another word for evangelism. As Christian disciples are reconciled to God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, so the "reconciling leader" is one who consistently shows others how they too can be reconciled to God. In verse 20, chapter five of second Corinthians, Paul writes, "We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God."
