The Suffering Leader

Description

The Apostle Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth was a powerful personal letter to his fellow believers. In it, Paul encourages the Corinthian believers to be reconciled with him and to reject false apostles who are challenging his authority and creating dissension in the church.  Certainly, Paul viewed suffering as part of the Christian Life, drawing great encouragement from the fact that God is "...the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort" (v. 3). In the first part of his series on 2 Corinthians, Ramez Atallah shows how identifying with Christ's suffering is key to a strong ministry.
