Description
Luther’s ideas raised a number of important theological issues. The most fundamental of these is the question of authority: where do you go for answers to theological questions? Traditional Catholics, Humanists, and Protestants came up with three different responses, with Protestants insisting that all doctrinal controversies be settled by Scripture alone.
