How to Survive in Ministry: Avoiding Temptations and Enduring Trials
- 2578 reads
Description
Christian ministry is not an escape to a care-free and comfortable life. In fact, Christian leaders face long hours, unrealistic expectations, emotional burdens, financial difficulties, and heart-breaking conflict in both their professional and personal lives. In the face of such trials, many leaders succumb to temptations or suffer from anxiety, depression, or burnout. But this is not what God has called us to. How can we endure trials, avoid temptations, and remain long-term in ministry positions? How do we hold on to the confidence and power of Christ? How can we care for ourselves so that we can continue to care for others?
