Paleoanthropology: What Is the Present Scientific Status?

Description

During the last century numerous hypotheses on human phylogeny were hampered by the scarcity of fossil material and poorly known morphology. However, the steadily increasing knowledge on fossils does not automatically result in more conclusive hypotheses. The famous Clark-Howell-Dictum still holds for the beginning of the 21st century: "The more you know the harder it is." This talk discusses the present scientific status of human origins and what this means for Christian scientists.
